Scolopacidae

(丘鹬科 Qiū-yù kē space シギ科 Shigi ka space Họ Dẽ)

The Scolopacidae (more traditionally known as the 鹬科 Yù kē) consist of the snipe, woodcocks, sandpipers, dowitchers, godwits, stints, curlews, whimbrels, and various similar birds. The main divisions in East Asia are:

Scolopacinae (woodcocks, snipe)

Tringinae (curlews, sandpipers, stints, etc.)
