Disastrous Translations by People¡¯s Literature Publishing House in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

All the original English quotations have been taken from British version, Bloomsbury 1998ISBN 0 7475 3848 4. All the Chinese quotations have been taken from the Chinese People¡¯s Literature Publishing House (hereafter referred to as LPH) version, September 2000, ISBN 7-02-003344-X.

The format of this essay is:
